An Elegant Cotswolds wedding at Dewsall Court
REAL WEDDING: Jessica & Spencer
DESIGN & STYLING: Studio Porter
There were plenty of exquisite details on this beautiful Spring day back in May; A day filled with soft touches, glistening candlelight and late-night dancing on the lawn with Espresso Martini's in hand. The overall Design & Styling was a combination of the couple’s loves and wants, where every details had been considered, from the largest to the smallest.
Jess wore a dress by Australian bridal Designer J. Andreatta, from Staffordshire based bridal boutique, Amare. Her bridal look was finished off with some addition of some fine jewellery from Irish designer, Lori Muldoon, and heels from By Far.
The couple’s intimate ceremony was held inside Dewsall’s historic church, with candlelit-filled windowsills and bespoke Order of Service’s, which were handed out to guests as they entered, along with delicately wrapped confetti. Jess entered the church to the soft song of Singer and Guitarist, Elly O’Keefe, where the couple were finally wed in front of their nearest and dearest.
For their grand exit, guests lined the pathway ready for the confetti throw. After signing the register, the couple finally emerged through the cascading floral arch that took centre stage amongst the historic building, where they were greeted with cheer and well wishes from loved ones.
Guests were welcomed into the Wainhouse Barn for dinner, where they were met with glistening candlelight and delicate sprigs of Spring flowers, suspended from the barn ceiling and adorned along the tables.
The wedding tablescape was inspired by the couple’s trips to Portugal, where their love for alfresco dining in the evening sun provided the perfect euphoric inspiration. Fresh apricots and pears were scattered amongst the flowers and candles, with delicate menus placed at each place setting, beautifully created by Bureau Design.
The wedding cake took inspiration from the bride’s elegant wedding dress, which was intricately embossed with hand-piped icing and finished off with delicate sugar flowers.
After dinner, guests were led out of the Wainhouse Barn by a marching band and onto the West Lawn to watch the sun set and sip on Espresso Martinis.
